My adventure today with my classic car - My father and I have a baby, a 66 Mercedes convertible that we worked on and had restored when I was about 13. When I was 16 I drove it once before it had major malfunctions we couldn't fix ourselves or afford to fix professionally. Now, we were able to and even though the car had it's heater stuck on full blast, engine rattled (we're putting new mounts on tomorrow) and stalled multiple times because it wasn't tuned right it was one of the best experiences I've had in a long, long time.

It's far from perfect, we don't have it back full time yet (they're doing some last finishing work on it) but I've waited to drive that car myself but not in a parking lot since I was 13 (I'm now 22 - dream realized)
